Located on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains, Eldorado Canyon State Park is home to classic multi-pitch moderates, splitter crack systems, and delicate face climbs. Surreal towers jut out of twisting ridgelines on both sides of the river creating a true climbers paradise. “Climb the face and protect the crack” is a phrase often heard in “Eldo”. Traditional style protection skills are an integral part of the Eldorado climbing experience. The history of this canyon is intrinsically linked to the evolution of free climbing in America.
